"The very center of our Earth and ourselves is shifting. This brings new knowledge and ways of being. We will teach you these things as the
y were taught to us."

30,000 year-old knowledge

Ka Ta See means "setting the world in balance." It is an ancient Peruvian knowledge that assists us in awakening to our true identity. In this 30,000 year-old medicine storytelling tradition, the unique alive feeling of each of us is referred to poetically as our "Song."

Through personal awakening, dreaming, and living in our Songs, we create the Era of the Heart, a new and wondrous paradigm of change in our world where we can live together in peace and well-being on Mother Earth.

Ka Ta See was brought to the western world in the early seventies by Chea and Domano Hetaka. They were elders from a remote tribe living on the eastern side of the Andes Mountains of PeruSouth America. These indigenous peoples went to great lengths to protect their cherished knowledge.

The Hetakas fulfilled a tribal prophecy by leaving their village to bring Ka Ta See out to others when they perceived that the world was becoming dangerously out of balance. They made the long journey from South America to southern California, specifically to pass on their knowledge to Kay Cordell Whitaker, who apprenticed with them for thirteen years.

The Hetakas asked Kay to pass on Ka Ta See, which she has done through her books, The Reluctant Shaman and Sacred Link, and through her teaching. These books describe her profound experiences with the Hetakas.

Kay has since taught Ka Ta See to Ken Robinson, who began his extensive apprenticeship with Kay beginning in 1995. During his advanced studies with her, he began teaching Ka Ta See.

Ka Ta See is for anyone who wants to study something very real and learn how to live in their joy and love for life.
